Do Your Homework!

Do Your Homework!

When it comes to finding a lash extensionist…it’s a good idea to do your homework. Just because someone is expensive, doesn’t necessarily mean they are good. I have taken off and repaired numerous new client’s botched lashes due to many different reasons. The top reasons are: lashes are too long, spidery and inappropriate for the supporting lash, several lashes clumped/stuck together, and major lash fall out soon after application. Many extensionists do lashes on the side & their skills stay rusty. The adhesive we use goes bad if not used within a month after being opened, and it is extremely expensive. This is the main reason why lashes can fall out soon after application, even if the application was flawless. So ask questions when booking your appointment. Find out how long they have been doing lashes, how many they do on average per week, and if this is their specialty or just a side job. I have been doing lashes for 3 years. I see approximately 15 – 20 clients per week, and this is all I do!
