Sunscreen and Lash Extensions

Sunscreen and Lash Extensions

Sunscreen is one of the absolute worst products that can come in contact with your lash extensions! Here is why: almost every sunscreen that comes in a cream form, whether it’s for your body or formulated for your face has an emulsifier ingredient that is similar to acetone. Yes, acetone! The main ingredient in nail polish remover. Even one time of rubbing this all over your face and your extensions will be compromised. And on a side note, you may notice that after applying sunscreen all over, your beautiful manicure is now cloudy, dull and possibly softened. I’m not advocating not using sunscreen on your face, however, use extreme care not to get it anywhere near your eyes & instead wear uv blocking sunglasses.
